It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria R. Cervantes (Harlingen, Texas), who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Luisa Rodriguez Loredo and Basilio Loredo; her husband Angel Cervantes; and her brothers, Teofilo Loredo, Innocencio Torres, Narciso Torres, Isodoro Loredo and Lucio Loredo.
She is survived by: her children, Jorge Cervantes (Mary), Marta Ortiz (Juan), Adolfo Cervantes (Yolanda), Esperanza Cervantes and Minerva Cervantes (Johnny); and her grandchildren, Jorge Cervantes Jr., Juan Ortiz Jr., Blanca Cervantes, Victor Rolando Ortiz, Randy Cervantes, Veronica Cuellar Concha, Krystal Cervantes and Eric Cervantes.
