She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Vega and Paula R. Vega; her husband Alfredo Maldonado Sr.; and her brother Carlos Vega. She is survived by: her children, Ann Jeannette Rocha, Alfredo Maldonado Jr. and Amanda Maldonado Moralez (Angel); her grandchildren, Elezar Gabriel Rocha, Chloe Jade Rocha, Mia Iliana Rocha, Joshua Olvera, Renesmee Miley Maldonado, Avery Joe Maldonado, Kenya Kayleen Olvera, Anahai Aymar Olvera and Mya Marie Olvera; and her siblings, Petra Maldonado, Juan Vega, Jacinto Vega, Floreta Guillen and Dolores Calderas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
