She is survived by: her husband Alejandro Atkinson Jr.; her children, Norma Lee Atkinson Cisneros (Mario), Estevan "Steve" Atkinson (Angela), Leticia Atkinson and Amy Ruvalcaba (Asael); and her siblings, Andres Alvarez Jr., Librada McLeister, Magdalena "Lina" Kitchens and Johnny Alvarez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
