She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Inez Guerra; her sister Minerva Martinez; and her daughter Martha Fries. She is survived by: her children, Cesar Guerra, Carlos Guerra, Rolando Guerra, Arnoldo Guerra, Esperanza Candler and Maribel Guerra; and her grandchildren, Amy Guerra, Cesar Guerra Jr., Yvette Guerra, Emmanuel Guerra, Monica Esquibel, Carlos Guerra Jr., Sarah Tristan, Rolando Guerra Jr., Roberto Guerra, Mateo Guerra, Marcos Guerra, Josiah Candler, Sierra Henderson, Lenna Chapa, Elita Nafziger and Hannah Candler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels. A prayer will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iglesia Bautista West Brownsville (925 W St Charles St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens (4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
