She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Garcia and Margarita Gil Garcia. She is survived by: her husband David Perez Lopez; and her children, Benito Mendez, Jr. (Silvia), Rosalinda Mendez, Elvira Trevino (Cristoval) and Angelita Hernandez (Jose). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
