She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Mejia and Refugia Mejia; her siblings, Silvestre Mejia, Jose Mejia (Mela), Raymond Mejia and Amelia Martinez; her nephew Javier Mejia; and her nieces, Alicia Mejia and Diana Mejia Diaz.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Mejia Elizondo (Freddy); her nieces and nephews, Alfredo "Roli" Elizondo (Jennifer), Orlando "Lenny" Elizondo (April), Lleanna Elizondo, Gleida Grzanich (Jeff), Kayla Mendoza (Benjamin) and Vivian Elizondo-Cuellar; her sister-in-law Connie Mejia; her nieces and nephews, Ray Mejia, Jr. (Tashonda), Bonnie Mejia, Liza Rivera (TJ), Maria Isabel Martinez, Stella Lefler, Manuel Mejia (Rosario), Joe Mejia (Sandy) and Marie Gonzalez (Leonard); and her close friend Glinda Gonzales.
