She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Rodriguez and Guadalupe Rodriguez; her siblings, Clemente Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Juanita Leija, Maria Rodriguez and Aurora Castillo; and her son-in-law Miguel Valdez (Mike).
She is survived by: her husband Juan Medellin; her brothers, Francisco Rodriguez (Simona) and Tomas Rodriguez (Amparo); and her children, Juan Jose Medellin (Gracie), Lillie Garcia (Sebastian), Yolanda Valdez and Peter Medellin (Marisela). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral will be private.
