It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Elizondo of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Fuentes and Francisca Vento; and her brothers, Eddie Fuentes, Uvaldo Fuentes and Paco Fuentes.

She is survived by: her husband Rogelio "Roy" Elizondo; and her parents-in-law, Carlos Fuentes (Esperanza), Joe Fuentes (Claudia), Otila Gomez, Graciela Garza and Hermelinda Vento (Fidencio). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
