She is survived by: her children, Rosalinda Cobarrubias (Arturo), Jose Jr. Alvarez (Elsa), Mateo Alvarez (Martha), Gracie Bradwell (Scott) and Nora Shoemaker (Reed); and her sister Sandy Cortina.
