He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haas and Esther Scandridge Haas; and his sisters, Eunice Bean, Becky Disterhoft and Marion Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Gleason; his children, Kim Jackson (Chris) of Cedar Falls, IA and Tammy Atencio (Ruben) of Palestine, TX; his grandchildren, Adam Jackson (Amber) of Bowie, MD, Mark Jackson (Amanda), Daysha Wells (Justin) of Killeen, TX and Zach Atencio of Palestine, TX; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Alfie Jackson, Samuel Jackson and Hannah Mae Wells; and his caregivers, Dr. Eduardo Flores of Tami Dittburner, ANP, Dr. Jay Walther, Dr. Ayala and Dr. Mazzola.
