He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Koite and Petra Hernandez Koite; his wife Maria Engracia Campos Koite; and his siblings, Netti, Chiyoko, Hatsuko, Masao and Samuel.
He is survived by: his children, Elvia Berry (Mark), Kusuo Koite Jr., Nora Arredondo (Marco) and Diana Koite; and his brothers, Maso, Jimmie, Goro and Akio.
