He was predeceased by: his wife Maricruz Gonzalez of Garcia; his parents, Meliton Garcia and Petra Escobedo; his brothers, Javier Garcia and Oscar Garcia; and his granddaughter Melanie Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Keiko), Mirna (Arturo), Angel (Jennifer), Ayde (Adan) and Jorge Justin; his siblings, Socorro, Martha, Monica, Silvia and Santos; and his niece Claudia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
