He was predeceased by: his wife Josie Gonzalez; and his sisters, Lillie Guerrero, Benilde Rosa, Emma Ramon and Tangie Lent.

He is survived by: his uncle Julio Gonzalez; his sons, Joseph Gonzalez and Edward Gonzalez (Christina); his grandson Justin Gonzalez; his sisters, Dora Bilano of Corpus Christi, Delia Garcia of Spring, Zoila Fuentes of Corpus Christi and Minerva Criado of Houston; and his brother-in-law Tom Lent of Wichita. He is also survived by father, grandfather, brother.
