She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Serratos and Antonia Garcia Serratos; her husband Vicente Barron; her children, Francisco Barron and Eloisa Barrera (Rodolfo); and her siblings, Rufina Serratos, Antonia López, Alberto Serratos, Genoveva Johnson and Manuela Serratos.
She is survived by: her children, Ramona Ramirez of Harlingen, Enemencio Barron (Paula) of Lyford, Jose Angel Barron (Laura) of Lyford and Evaristo Barron (Maria) of Lyford; her daughter-in-law Aurelia Barron; and her brother Jesus Serratos. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, & 9 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1015 E Van Buren Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Las Rusias Cemetery (Rangerville Rd, San Benito, TX 78586).
