We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2019, at the age of 80, Juan Chavez Jr. (Harlingen, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Lionel Chavez; his great grandchild Ian Matthew Ledesma; his parents, Maria Chavez and Juan Chavez Sr.; and his brother Jose Luis Chavez.

He is survived by: his wife Elva Chavez; his daughters, Janie Chavez, Alicia Trevino (Jose) and Sylvia Ledesma (Ross); his grandchildren, Erica Siller (Trey), Danette Chavez, April Gonzalez, Matthew Ledesma, Jeremy Ledesma, Alyssa Salinas, Amy Ramirez (Rene) and Lionel Salinas; his great grandchildren, Areck, Mya, Ayla, Elina and Vivian; and his siblings, Eva Garcia, Ramiro Chavez (Olga) and Mike Chavez (Consuelo). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
