It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juan C. Salas Jr. (Harlingen, Texas), who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Salas, Sr. and Carolina Chamberlain of Salas; his daughter Sandra Itala Salas-Miyares; and his brothers, Santiago "Jimmy" Salas, Jose "Play" Salas and Samuel Salas.

He is survived by: his wife Consuelo "Connie" Marquez of Salas; his son Rafael Juan Salas; his siblings, Evangelina Salas of Gallaga, Maria Salas of Reyes, Juana Salas of Guerrero, Lydia Salas of Cantu, Teresa Salas, Encarnacion "Chon" Salas, Jesus Salas and Alfredo Salas; his son-in-law Marcelino Miyares; his nephews, Rafael Marquez III and Humberto Ingles; and his niece Lisa Marquez.

Those wishing to express sympathy can make a donation in Juan's name to the Harlingen Humane Society or Loaves and Fishes.
