It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Steve Vera in Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jose Steve may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jose Steve touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Uvaldo Vera and Anita Vera; and his sister Sylvia Vera. He is survived by: his wife Irma Champion Vera; his sons, Jaime (Normalinda), Javier (Taryn Balducci) and Fernando (Monique); and his grandchildren, Mia, Noah and Ella. He is also survived by husband of 54 years who took pride in his family.
