He is survived by: his son John Anthony Padron; his granddaughters, Christine Castillo, Teresita Mejia (Rodolfo), Esmeralda Vasquez (Lionel), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Anthony), Annette Castillo and Amanda Castillo; and his great grandchildren, Tanya, Michael, Clarissa, James, Danielle, Brandon, Brian, Ashley, Isaiah, Amber, Nathan, Angelica and Makayla.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1509 New Combes Hwy, Harlingen, TX 78550). The military honors was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery (21037 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the same location.
