He was predeceased by: his parents, José María Martin, Sr. and Juanita Agado; the mother of his children Dora Martin; his children, Donna J. Martin, Eddie Martin and Dean Martin; and his brother Raymond Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Ann Ritchie (John); his granddaughters, Christina Mendez (Adam) and Samantha Happy Guajardo (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Blake Cole, John Robert Ritchie, Sophia, Ian Mendez, June Addison Martinez, Lucio and Remi Monae Guajardo.
