He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose A. Ortiz and Guadalupe Ortiz; and his grandmother Encarnacion Salinas. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice L. Ortiz; his daughters, Kristine Dones (Ramon) and Kimberly Ortiz; his grandchildren, Ramon Alexander Dones, Kaitlin Dones and Kathren Dones; and his siblings, Arturo Ortiz (Ofelia), Micheal Ortiz (Nelda), Lorraine Garcia and Rose Marie Ramos (Oscar). He is also survived by his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559).
