He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Decilos and Maria Decilos; and his grandmother Matilde Decilos. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda H. Decilos; his children, Monica Lorraine Chavez (Richard) and Lisa Bernice Decilos; his grandchildren, Richard Chavez Jr., Isaac Anthony Flores and Daniel Alexander Flores; and his siblings, Frances Garcia (Gabriel) of Chicago, Oralia Garcia (Robert) of Chicago, Graciela Anaya (Jorge) of Chicago, Enriqueta Banda (Francisco) of Harlingen, Juanita Martinez (Jose) of Holland, Mary Decilos-Marin of Harlingen and Fernando Decilos (Stella) of Harlingen.
