He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Santiago Basaldua and Julia Limon Basaldua; his wife Olivia Basaldua; his son Joe "Pipo" Basaldua Jr; his sister Herlinda Del Valle; his children, Guadalupe B. Reyna (Rene), Olga Basaldua, David Basaldua (Alma) and Jimmy Basaldua; and his siblings, Eva Gonzalez, Gustavo and Geronimo Basaldua. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
