He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopoldo Rivera and Hilaria Rivera; his granddaughter Arminda Rivera; and his siblings, Juan Rivera and Rebecca Carrusco.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia G. Rivera; and his children, Hilda Ochoa, George Rivera, Jr. and Lila R. Garcia. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
