With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jorge Luis Villarreal (Harlingen, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2024 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Jorge Luis departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jorge Luis. Though Jorge Luis may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by : his parents, Juan Villarreal and Elizabeth Villarreal; his close friend Jeannette Rodriguez; his stepchildren, Alexandria and Manny; and his siblings, Julia Villarreal, Juan Jr., Jose Francisco and Gilberto Villarreal (Rachel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many great friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Villarreal Cemetery.
