He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Ferris, Sr. and Frances White Ferris; his wife Sarah Jane Allen; and his sister Jeanne McCutchon. He is survived by: his children, Kaki Cole (Rick) of New Braunfels, John III of Colima, Mexico, Chris of Port Isabel, Tita Adams (Bill) of Harlingen, Paul (Stacey) of Ellensburg, Beth Quinn (Kevin) of Denver, Frank (Becky) of Harlingen, Sarita of Sugar Land, Jeanne Schley (Charles) of Highlands Ranch and David (Glenda) of Lewis Center, Ohio. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
