With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacinta A. Cordero of Harlingen, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardo S. Araujo and Guadalupe Araujo; and her siblings, Enedina Gonzalez, Maria F. Cooper, Santos Araujo and Primitivo Araujo.
She is survived by: her children, Lupita Yanez (Reynaldo), Janie Gonzlez (Malcolm) and Ramon Cordero; her granddaughters, Veronica Yanez and Rachel Yanez; her great grandchildren, Yanette Eva Ayala and Cristian James Garcia; her siblings, Agustina Gonzalez and Bernardo Araujo, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Lydia Araujo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
