He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Longoria and Rosa Longoria; his wife Elizabeth Gonzalez; his son Erick Eli Gonzalez; his granddaughter Roxanne Gonzalez; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah Roxanne Gonzalez and Tristan Ivan Santana.
He is survived by: his children, Israel Gonzalez, Jr. (Marianne), Noemi Sandoval, Leonel Gonzalez (Sandra) and Debbie De La (Pablo); and his daughter-in-law Maricela Gonzalez. He is also survived by 13 siblings.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel of Peace (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A prayer was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
