He is survived by: his mother Wilma Ratliff; his wife Maria Gabriela Cedillo of Cortez; his children, Isabella Cortez, Samantha Salinas, Ruben Salinas and Israel Cortez IV; his stepmother Angela Wilkinson Cortez; his sisters, Crystal Cortez Dovalina, Carmen Matthis Galvan and Jessica Galvan; his nephew Richard "Rick" Pizano (Stephanie); and his niece Brittany Casarez (Edward). He is also survived by numerous other relatives & friends.
