He is survived by: his parents, Jose Cavazos and Maria Dolores Cavazos; his wife Estefana; his granddaughter Georgina Cavazos-Perez; his great grandchild Maria Paola Rodriguez; his siblings, Zenon, Leopoldo, Florentino, Esteban, Ramon, Jose and Jesus Cavazos; his children, Francisca (Gilberto Rodriguez), Johnny (Margaret Cavazos), George (Ruby Cavazos), Melva (Israel Juarez), Adrian (Andrea Cavazos), Patty (Sergio), Portales, Julio (Tencha Cavazos) and Chris (Daniel Castillo); and his siblings, Cesar Cavazos, Ruben Cavazos Sr., Dyla Rodriguez Cavazos and Houston. He is also survived by his wife.
