She was predeceased by: her husband Telesforo Martinez; her sons, Samuel Martinez, Jose Martinez, Esteban Briones and Jesus Briones; her parents, Teofilo Sauceda and Juanita Perez; and her grandson Esteban Casas.
She is survived by: her children, Arturo Espindola (Rosalia) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Anita Briones Cruz (Jose) of Harlingen, Gerald Dalum (Sylvia) of Harlingen, Patricia Soto (Richard) of Harlingen and Lupita Martinez of Harlingen; and her siblings, Crecencio Sauceda and Tomasa Henderson. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
