She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Vera and Beatrice Gutierrez. She is survived by: her husband Emilio Castillo; her son Jeremy Marquez; her stepsons, Julio Castillo and Orlando Castillo; and her siblings, Zaragoza Gutierrez and Rosa Gutierrez.
