It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irasema Gaona of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Hernandez and Rebecca Hernandez. She is survived by: her children, Jesus G. Gaona, Amanda Gaona (David Diosdado) and Daniel C. Gaona (Clarissa Gaona); her grandchildren, Jesus Gaona Jr., Alexavier Gaona, Chloe R. Gaona, Sofia V. Diosdado, Natalia A. Diosdado and Lauraine J. Gaona; and her siblings, Ramon Hernandez Jr. (Sally), Santiago Hernandez (Inez), Nora Garza, Santos Hernandez (Linda), Mary Valdez (Jaime), Mary "Pita" Flores (Roland), Raquel Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, Romeo Hernandez (Veronica) and Hilda. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
