With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ira Allan Morriss (Harlingen, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Morriss and Zella Morriss; his children, Jennifer Lynn Morriss and Jeffrey Allan Morriss; and his siblings, Dona Davis, Thelma Edens, Margaret Gillispie and O. E. "Bob" Morriss.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Tuttle; his children, Michele Cash (Todd), Shannon Lundquist (Earl) and Sean Morriss; his grandchildren, Jennifer Galvan (Lee), Cara Cash, Kelly "Sadie" Cash, Dylan Lundquist and Vanessa Lundquist; and his great grandchildren, Lisandro "Taylor" Galvan and Gideon Galvan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
