It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ignacio Medrano of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Trinidad Medrano and Maria Mercedes Zarate Tobias; his stepfather Venancio Tobias; his sisters, Adela Medrano and Lila Cantu; and his siblings-in-law, David Garcia, Carlos Cantu and Graciela Medrano.
He is survived by: his nephew David Garcia Jr.; his daughter Rosemary Lee Medrano (Ciro Ramirez); his grandchildren, Trinity Rose Cano, Haley Danielle Cano and Daniel Luis Cano; his former wife Nelda Medrano; and his siblings, Joe Trinidad Medrano, Basilio Medrano (Angie) and Teresa Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
