He was predeceased by: his parents, Pomposo Guzman and Josefina Arguello Guzman; his wife Velia Echazarreta Guzman; and his siblings, Angela, Maria Elpidia, Miguel, Felix and Maximina.

He is survived by: his children, Guillermo Guzman, Jr. (Raquel) and Nora Sandra Guzman-Morato; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Victoria Guzman, Christina Nicole Morato and Andres Guillermo Guzman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
