With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guadalupe Cortez of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Guadalupe Cortez to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro Cortez Martinez; and her parents, Justo Rojo and Cira R. Rojo. She is survived by: her children, Christian, Gandia Cortez, Ofir Cortez (Teresa), Erik Cortez (Martha C.), Anel Cortez (Irene Heredia), Deni Cortez (Byron Hansen), Fanny Cortez, Pedro Cortez (Gloria), Guadalupe Cortez (Patsy Lopez), Pablo I. Cortez and Mercedes G. Cortez; and her brother Javier Rojo. She is also survived by 26 Grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

Guadalupe had a strong foundation of faith and was a Christian prayer warrior who loved attending her church services at Iglesia La Fuente del Cielo.
