She was predeceased by: her parents, Toribio Lira and Antonia Lira; and her son Juan. She is survived by: her children, Dolores, Jose, Irene, Anita, Ofelia, Mary and Marcos; and her siblings, Juan and Senovia. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 40+ great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
