She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar E. Guajardo and Elizabeth Hilton; her sister Isis Weiland; and her daughter Gloria N. Duran (Jimmie). She is survived by: her husband Jose I. Montes; her daughter Isis Montes; her siblings, Norma G. Garza (David), Elsie G. Chapa (Heriberto) and Oscar E. Guajardo Jr.; her grandchildren, Amanda D. Yarrito (Adrian), Jennifer N. Duran, Pablo D. Flores (Daisy) and Gavin F. Hernandez; her great grandchild Madelyn Barreiro; and her son-in-law Jimmie Duran. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
