He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Anzaldua and Josefina Zuniga Anzaldua; his daughter Michelle Anzaldua; and his siblings, Antonio Jr., Eloy, Hilario, Juan Anzaldua and Elma Saldivar.
He is survived by: his wife Lilia Anzaldua; his son Gilbert Roland Anzaldua (Andrea) of Harlingen; his grandsons, Noah, Nathan and Nevan Anzaldua; and his sister Maria Elena Rosales of Mercedes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
