He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Cruz and Eugenia Torres; his wife Francisca M. Cruz; his son Raymond Cruz; and his siblings, Juanita Garza, Tiofilo Cruz, Margarito Cruz, Reducindo Cruz, Narciso Cruz and Ignacio Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Geronimo Cruz Jr. (Yolanda), Ida Macias (Armando), Harvey Cruz (Dora), Angel Cruz (Elsa), Nora Ocanas (Oscar), Betsy Martinez (Ricardo), Brenda Garza (Robert) and Randy Cruz; and his sisters, Olivia Vasquez, Amelia Gonzales and Aurora Ortiz. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
