He is survived by: his children, Mark Covarrubias (Sara) and Cynthia Leal (Daniel); his grandchildren, Anthony Mark Covarrubias, Angelia Rose Covarrubias, Larissa Covarrubias, Eric Cabrera, Liliana Contreras, Julie Covarrubias, Enalina Contreras and Daniel Felipe Santiago Leal; his great grandchildren, Andrew Leyva and Eric Cabrera Jr.; and his brothers, Abel Covarrubias Jr. (Naomi) and Fidel Covarrubias (Alice). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces relatives and friends.
