She is survived by: her children, Gloria Mares, Margarita Atkins and Carlos Moreida (Kathy); her grandchildren, Lazaro Mares Jr., Gustavo Mares, Antonio Mares, Alejandro Atkins, Lily Atkins and Joseph Moreida; and her sister-in-law Florinda Trevino. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
