She was predeceased by: her parents, Merced Lucio and Maria Del Carmen Flores; and her son Joe Lucio Gonzalez. She is survived by: her husband Andres "Chico" Gonzalez; her children, Elva Lucio Hernandez, Magdalena Lucio (Owen Richardson), Sylvia R. Trevino, Yolanda Lievens (Steve), Vickie Rubio and Andres Gonzalez Jr.; and her grandchildren, Peter Bustinza, Joe Rodriguez, Jobina Rubio, Jessica Posada, Jesse Gonzalez, Jodi McClellan, Adrian Gonzalez, Julie Galarza, Monica Gonzalez, Vivian Linares and Ariel Salinas. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great granddaughters, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559).
