She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederico Puente (Soila Saenz-Villafranca) and Francisco T. Puente; her husband Frank Puente, Sr.; and her siblings, Armando Villafranca, Irene Escobedo and Rosa Perez.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Puente Jr. (Rita Garza), Cynthia Thompson (Doug), Rose Mary Slagle (Dan), Edward Puente (Laura), Diana Resendez (Tito), Marco Puente (April) and Gabriel Puente (Karla); and her siblings, Juan Villafranca, Elva Villalon, Irma Contreras and Jorge Villafranca.
