She is survived by: her children, Carlos Romero, Alicia Zamilpa, David Zamilpa, Abraham Rodriguez and Jacobo Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Carlos Romero Jr., Hilario Romero, Lisa Romero, Felisa Tristan, Antonio Hernandez and Salvador Hernandez Jr. Additionally; her great grandchildren, Bell Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Isabella Romero, Hilario Romero Jr., Daniel Alejandro Tristan and Diego Sebastian Tristan; and her siblings, Ignacio Vega, Ernesto Vega, Ramiro Vega, Teresa Rodriguez, Irena Salinez and Elida Cavazos. She is also survived by her eight stepchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:00 AM. Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home (1400 E Business 77, San Benito, TX 78586). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1001 US-77 BUS, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (26170 TX-345, San Benito, TX 78586).
