With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elvia L. Howell of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anacleto Lara and Julia Aguilar Lara; her husband Charles Roy Howell; and her grandson Patrick V. Novotny. She is survived by: her siblings, Dolores Abrego Lara, Bertha Lara Bunderson and Robert Lara; her daughter Elizabeth A. Howell; her grandsons, Clint Clancy and Christopher R. Novotny; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Victoria, Vivian Elizabeth Clancy, Caleb and Lillie Novotny. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
