She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Solis Sr. and Manuela Mercado Solis; her daughter Julienna Esther Cestero; and her siblings, Argentina Solis, Catalina Solis, Alicia S. Diaz, Noel H. Solis and Leopoldo Solis Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Cestero D'Souza (Dinesh) and A. J. Cestero (Mari); her grandchildren, Justin, Julienna Fancher and Danielle D'Souza Gill (Brandon); her great grandchild Marigold Gill; her siblings, Carlos Solis (Bea), David Solis (Mary Helen) and Karen S. Martinez; her daughter-in-law Mari; her caregivers, Ida Vento, Abigail Gonzalez, Julia Sobol, Ofelia Jackson and Mindy Love; and her children, Debi Ruelas, Dr. Grayson, Cindy Sellers, Dr. James Castillo and Alisha Lopez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
