He was predeceased by: his father Millard Reynolds; his father-in-law Fernando Estrada; and his cousin Eric Eason. He is survived by: his mother Juna Reynolds; his wife Cindy Reynolds; his sons, Christopher Cortez (Micaela), Matthew Cortez (Samantha Stanol) and Jarred Reynolds; his grandchildren, Cedric Cortez and Daniella Freeman; his brothers, Scott Reynolds (Judy) and Michael Reynolds (Judy); his nephew David Reynolds; and his niece Regina De Canto (Nicholas).
