It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Domingo Calderas of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Domingo leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Calderas and Maria Calderas; and his sister Maria Elena Medina. He is survived by: his wife Fidencia; and his children, Ana Elizondo (Felix), Elma Basaldua (Joe Torres), Mary Calderas, Nereida Elizondo, Elva Saldivar (David), Leticia Pena (Marco) and Robert Calderas (Aida). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
