It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dominga Alvarez of Harlingen, Texas, born in Primera, Texas, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Graciela Medellin; her parents, Sebastian Gonzalez and Maria Gonzalez; and her brothers, Luis, Victor, Pablo, Francisco and Jesus.
She is survived by: her husband Leandro Alvarez; her children, Leandro Alvarez, Jr. (Evangelina), Alvaro Alvarez (Rachel), Hector Alvarez (Veronica) and Hermelinda Alvarez Bowser; her niece Eloise Padron; and her siblings, Modesta Partida and Marcelino Gonzalez. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
